Shoto Budo
Training and Progression
Members are expected to follow a general code of etiquette: To be punctual, to come fully prepared to train, to be dressed appropriately and so show respect to instructors and other club members.
The amount of time that should be spent training is relative to the individual, their fitness level, ability and circumstances. Obviously, the more training sessions attended, the faster the majority of people are likely to progress. However, it is also understandable that sometimes injury, work, and/ or family pressures may mean that regular practice may occasionally be disrupted.
Satisfactory progress will be made with regular attendance to weekly practice sessions. There is also extensive opportunities to train with other Shoto Budo instructors and students in other clubs.
Members are encouraged to seek advice from their regular club instructor with any concerns about individual training and progression issues.
